ABOUT THE YAYASAN
YAYASAN TUN ABDUL HAMID was established on 09th November 1996 as a
tax-exempt charitable foundation.
Its main objects are primarily in furtherance of legal education, including the provision of financial assistance for impoverished students of Law and Law related studies, as well as a secondary mission to organise and carry out schemes towards the relief of human suffering and improvement of the standard of human life.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Although Yayasan Tun Abdul Hamid’s main objects are primarily in the furtherance of legal education, legal research and the provision of free legal services & facilities, the Yayasan has occasionally donated to several other charitable causes since its inception.
Organisations which have received Yayasan support include Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia, Yayasan Jantung Malaysia, Yayasan Canselor OUM, National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM), Women’s Aid Organisation,Rumah Nur Salam (now Yayasan Chow Kit), Rumah Amal Cahaya Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (RACTAR), Hospis Malaysia, Yayasan Sunbeams and Fugee School.
Yayasan Tun Abdul Hamid is proud to be the Official Sponsor for the prize for The Best Overall Student For The Sijil Amalan Guaman Examinations since 1997.
