The children and Friends of the Yayasan performed solat jemaah Maghrib together at Surau Nurul Iman. This was followed by a special barbecue dinner. After dinner, the children ‘chilled’ by playing a variety of traditional games like congkak, carrom, darts and also table tennis. Then they had an ‘unplugged’ singing practice session for their performance the following day.

Everyone was up early the next morning for a hearty breakfast. Then it was another round of fun and games playing ‘Capture the Flag’ which involved spraying each other with water guns.
The fun continued with everyone jumping into the swimming pool and enjoying exclusive use of the whole pool area and cooling off under the water fountains.

YTAH Vice Chairman, Azizuddin bin Abdul Hamid addressing the children at the Graduation ceremony. He reminded the children how everyone at YTAH constantly regarded them as their own children — “Kami menganggap adik-adik semua seperti anak-anak dan kaum keluarga kami sendiri yang kami redhai dan kasihi, dan kami senantiasa berdo’a agar adik-beradik semua akan membesar dengan bijaksana dan menjadi rakyat Malaysia yang bertanggung jawab dan berguna kepada masyarakat”.
In keeping with the tradition of all Yayasan events, each child was presented with a token sum of RM10.00 pocket money, a gift and encouraged to fill their loot bag with as many sweets and chocolates from the confectionery ‘mountain’.

Then it was time to bid farewell. Exhausted but happy, many of the children fell asleep on the way back in the various cars ferried by the Friends of the Yayasan.
Many thanks to FOTY Iskander, Feisal & Greg for helping to fetch the Nur Salam children and bring them all the way to Selesa Resort and then send them back again. A big Thank You also to Greg’s parents, Mr. Peter & Mrs. Ruby Eu for so kindly providing the use of their MPV for the duration of the camp.
