YTAH CHEQUE PRESENTATION FOR THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE AWARD OF BEST STUDENT IN THE CLP EXAMINATIONS 2012
YTAH Director, Ellina binti Abdul Majid, represented the Yayasan on 8th January 2013 to present the cheque for the sponsorship of the HADIAH TUN ABDUL HAMID OMAR UNTUK PELAJAR TERBAIK KESELURUHAN PEPERIKSAAN SIJIL AMALAN GUAMAN TAHUN 2012 (Best Overall Student in the Certificate in Legal Practice examinations) at the office of Lembaga Kelayakan Profesion Undang-Undang, Malaysia (Legal Profession Qualifying Board, Malaysia) on 7th January 2013.
For several years, the much coveted award carried a monetary value of RM5000.00. But with the rising cost of living, the Board of Directors of Yayasan Tun Abdul Hamid had unanimously agreed to increase the amount of the award to RM7500.00.
Puan Aliza Sulaiman, Director of Lembaga Kelayakan Profesion Undang-Undang, Malaysia, received the cheque on behalf of Lembaga Kelayakan Profesion Undang-Undang, Malaysia, and expressed their sincere appreciation for the Yayasan’s sponsorship of the award throughout the years.

In addition, Puan Aliza presented a custom-made plaque of the emblem of Lembaga Kelayakan Profesion Undang-Undang, Malaysia, to the Yayasan as a token of appreciation from Lembaga Kelayakan Profesion Undang-Undang, Malaysia. Established under the Legal Profession Act 1976 (Akta Profesion Undang-Undang 1976), the Members of the Board of Lembaga Kelayakan Profesion Undang-Undang, Malaysia is headed by the Attorney-General, Malaysia, YBhg. Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail as Chairman. The other Members are Federal Court, Malaysia Judges YA Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Embong and YA Datuk Zainun Ali, Chairman of Majlis Peguam Malaysia, Mr. Lim Chee Wee and Dekan, Fakulti Undang-Undang, Universiti Teknologi MARA, YBhg. Profesor Madya Datin Paduka Saudah Sulaiman.
