FIRST YAYASAN TUN ABDUL HAMID QUARTERLY BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING FOR 2013
The Board of Directors of Yayasan Tun Abdul Hamid held their first quarterly meeting for 2013 at the Meeting Room of The Royal Selangor Golf Club, Jalan Kelab Golf, off Jalan Tun Razak, 55000 Kuala Lumpur on Monday 04th March 2013.
After the holidays associated with the festivities of Christmas, New Year and the Lunar New Year, the Board was energised and refreshed to deal with the various matters pertaining to the administration of the Yayasan. This included a careful perusal of the Asset Managers’ reports to ensure that the Yayasan’s portfolio of investments are yielding the best possible returns – the higher, the better, so as to benefit even more impoverished Law students as well as the needy.
While the Board of Directors would dearly like to assist financially constrained students of other disciplines, the scope of work of the Yayasan as laid down in its objects of the Memorandum of Association clearly limits such financial assistance to Law students only.
