DONATION TO THE MALAYSIAN RED CRESCENT SOCIETY
When Friends Of The Yayasan (FOTY) heard about a charity event in aid of the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) to be held on 10th March 2013 via YTAH Director Puan Ellina binti Abdul Majid, they were only too happy to respond.
This is because the MRCS is a cause very dear to their hearts as Yayasan Tun Abdul Hamid founding Chairman Y.A.Bhg. Tun Dato’ Seri Hj. Abdul Hamid bin Hj. Omar was President of the MRCS for many years. 1976 to 2002, to be exact.

Gathering together their treasured designer fashion items, the Friends made a special visit to the MRCS headquarters at Lengkok Belfield, off Jalan Wisma Putra, Kuala Lumpur, to deliver the items personally to the MRCS staff.

Among the items donated were Italian leather jackets & leather trousers, designer men’s shirts, designer silk ties, ladies imported formal evening wear & shoes, and children’s party dresses and sports shoes.

At the same time, the Friends had also accumulated a substantial quantity of household items, knick knacks and toys to be sold at the MRCS charity shop (RC shop), which opens 9am-5pm Mon- Fri, within the MRCS headquarters’ premises.
The Malaysian Red Crescent Society event entitled ‘A VINTAGE AFFAIR 2013’ will be held on SUNDAY 10th MARCH 2013 at PUBLIKA, Jalan Dutamas 1, 50480 Kuala Lumpur.
